FIrst Post

So this is my first blog post. Ever. I'm a little worried about how to attract readers, since I do not really consider my life so interesting as to merit a following. But maybe, like Jerry Seinfeld, I will attract you by my stories about nothing in particular--nothing special.

My roommate Nina is a germaphobe who enjoys crosswords and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia". She's from Pennsylvania. 

I, on the other hand, enjoy sudoku and "America's Next Top Model". That makes me sound a little brainless, but I promise, it's a guilty pleasure and I only watch it for the artistic value of the photography. And because I enjoy criticizing the modeling industry for promoting eating disorders. I myself LOVE food and cannot understand how anyone would make the conscious decision not to eat...

On a completely different note, I am now going to deposit my absentee ballot in the post box and submit my first official vote. I haven't yet mentioned, but I am currently a student at Tufts University in Medford, Mass. 

I'm quite enthusiastic about this blog, so I hope that enthusiasm will last long enough to keep you all (whoever you may be) updated about my stories of nothingness.
