Private Practice

So in the days following the weekend of Halloween, there have been several revelations. One: Halloween in college is not nearly as fun as it was supposed to be. Two: Halloween costumes require more than two days of thought, even if you think you had it planned out weeks before. Three: It should be a rule to get at least 50% of your work done on Friday, rather than leaving all 100% to Sunday, since Saturday will be spent sleeping and baking at your friend's house after her parents cook a gourmet lunch for four of you.

On the bright side, the election is tomorrow, meaning the buzz around campus has been growing beyond its usual din to a louder, and slightly more obnoxious hum. With that, I wish you all good luck in the upcoming week, and hope that the candidate of your choice gets elected, whoever that will be. Personally, I hope it is someone good, like Mr. Depp.

If it matters to anyone, my brother in law ran the NYC Marathon this past weekend (yesterday) in under four hours (3 hours 47 minutes). I think in most opinions, that's a pretty damn good time for a 39 year old man. So congrats to him, and to everyone who ran the marathon!
